Terms of Service
1. Who we are
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you (“you”, “Customer”) and CEF TECHNOLOGY LLC, a company registered in the State of Wyoming, United States, with registered office at 1603 Capitol Ave., Ste. 310, Cheyenne, WY 82001, USA (“CEF”, “we”, “us”).
They govern your use of Info by CEF (the “Services”), the website info-signage.com, the cloud panel through which you manage the Services (the “Panel”) and the Info player apps that show your content on your screens (the “Player”).
By signing up for, buying or using the Services, you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not sign up for, buy or use the Services.
2. What the Services do
Info is a digital signage platform offered in the cloud. Through the Panel you upload and organize your content, build layouts and playlists, schedule them and assign them to your screens; the Player, installed on each screen’s device, downloads that content and plays it.
We run the platform in the cloud, with trusted infrastructure providers. There is no server software for you to install: you install the Player on the devices behind your screens.
We describe the Services’ capabilities on info-signage.com and in the help we provide. We do not promise features that are not described there or agreed with you in writing.
3. Accounts
You need an account on the Panel to use the Services. You agree to provide accurate information, to keep your credentials secure, and to be responsible for everything done under your account, including by the users you invite to it.
You must be at least 18 years old and have authority to enter into this agreement, on your own behalf or on behalf of the organization you represent.
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms or is used unlawfully.
4. Free trial
You may try the Services free of charge for 30 days with one player, with full access to the Panel and its features. No payment details are needed for the trial. When the trial ends, your content and settings stay in your account and the player pauses until you buy a licence. We may change or end the trial offer for new accounts at any time; a change does not affect a trial already started.
5. Plans, prices and taxes
Standard is a yearly subscription for each player, at the price shown on info-signage.com/pricing/, paid online through Stripe. It is billed in advance for the year and renews automatically every year until you stop the renewal (see section 7).
Corporate plans and any other arrangement: the plan, the price, the services, the hardware and the billing period are those set out in the order or quote we agree with you.
Prices are in US dollars unless agreed otherwise, and exclusive of any taxes. You are responsible for any taxes, duties or levies applicable in your jurisdiction, other than taxes on our income.
We may change our prices. A change does not affect a period you have already paid for, and we will give you reasonable notice before it applies to a renewal.
6. Payment and non-payment
Standard subscriptions are charged by Stripe, our payment processor, by card or by the other methods Stripe offers on the payment page (such as Google Pay, Apple Pay, Amazon Pay or Link). For other plans, the payment method is agreed with you in your order. Payment details are handled by the payment processor and we do not receive or store your full card details.
If a payment fails, we contact you at the address on your account. If payment is still not received after a reasonable period, or the period stated in your order, we may pause the affected players until the outstanding amount is paid.
7. Renewal, cancellation and refunds
Standard: a licence is paid for one year and stays valid until that year ends. A paid year cannot be cancelled and no refund is given for the remaining part of a year. You may stop the next renewal at any time before it by writing to sales@cef-technology.com: the licence then runs to the end of the year already paid and no further charge is made.
Other plans: renewal and cancellation are as set out in your order.
When a licence ends, the player it covers stops playing your content. Your account and content stay available in the Panel for a reasonable period, so you can renew.
8. Support and service levels
Standard includes self-service help and email support at support@cef-technology.com, with a reply within 48 business hours. Corporate plans include the direct support set out in your order.
For Corporate plans, availability commitments and their remedies are set out in our SLA at cef-technology.com/sla/, which commits to a minimum Service Availability of 99.9% per calendar month for each covered service.
9. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- The content you show through the Services, and holding all the rights and licences needed to display it in the places where your screens are, including images, video, music, fonts and third-party content.
- Complying with the laws that apply to what you display and where you display it, including advertising, consumer protection and privacy rules.
- The devices behind your screens, their power and their internet connection. The Player keeps playing the content it already has when the connection drops, and updates when it comes back.
- The accounts you connect through integrations (see section 10), and their terms.
- Keeping a way to be reached: service notices and payment problems are sent by email to the address on your account.
Our Acceptable Use Policy sets out what you may not do with the Services.
10. Integrations and third-party services
The Services can show content from third-party services through integrations (for example video platforms, document, calendar, dashboard or news services). Each third-party service is provided by its owner under its own terms, which you accept when you connect it; some require an account of your own. We are not responsible for third-party services, their availability or their content, and an integration may stop working if the third party changes or withdraws its service.
11. Hardware
Where we supply devices (for example certified players with the Player preinstalled under a Corporate plan), the devices, their delivery and their warranty are as set out in your order. Devices you buy elsewhere are covered by their manufacturer’s terms.
12. Intellectual property
The Services, the Panel, the Player, the help content and the website, including all copyright, trademarks and other intellectual property in them, belong to CEF or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership to you. The content you upload remains yours; you grant us only what we need to store it and deliver it to your players as you have asked.
13. Warranties and disclaimers
We provide the Services with reasonable skill and care, and we warrant that they will substantially perform as described on our website and, for Corporate plans, in our SLA.
Beyond that, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that they will operate correctly with devices, networks, integrations or third-party systems outside our control.
14. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or loss of goodwill, even if advised of the possibility.
- Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms is limited to the amounts you paid to us for the Services in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim, and any service credits due under the SLA are counted towards that amount.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
15. Indemnity
You will indemnify and hold us harmless against claims, damages and reasonable costs arising from the content you show through the Services, from your breach of these Terms, or from your unlawful use of the Services. This includes claims by rights holders in respect of content you did not hold the rights to display.
16. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate the Services if you materially breach these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, or if payment remains outstanding as described in section 6.
Where the breach can be cured, we will give you notice and a reasonable opportunity to cure it first, unless the breach is unlawful or causes immediate harm.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will publish the updated version at info-signage.com/legal/ with a new date, and where changes are material we will notify account holders by email at least 30 days in advance. Continuing to use the Services after the change takes effect means you accept it.
18. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules. The courts located in Wyoming have exclusive jurisdiction, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any competent court to protect its intellectual property.
19. General
- Entire agreement. These Terms, together with your order (if any), the Acceptable Use Policy and the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between us on this subject. Where your order and these Terms differ, your order prevails.
- Severability. If a provision is held unenforceable, the rest remains in force.
- No waiver. Not enforcing a right on one occasion is not a waiver of it.
- Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
- Force majeure. Neither party is liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond its reasonable control.

Acceptable Use Policy
This policy sets out what you may not do with Info. It forms part of our Terms of Service, and breaking it can cost you your Services.
It is deliberately short. The principle behind it: you are responsible for what you show on your screens, and for having the right to show it.
1. Content
You must not use the Services to display content that:
- You do not hold the necessary rights or licences to display, in the places where your screens are. This is the important one.
- Infringes copyright, trademark or other intellectual property rights.
- Is unlawful where it is displayed, or misleading as advertising.
- Depicts child sexual abuse, or incites violence, terrorism or hatred.
- Is intended to defraud or deceive the people who see it.
We deliver your content; we do not watch it. We do not review or inspect the content you upload, beyond the technical monitoring needed to keep the Services running. This clause is about your responsibility, not our surveillance, and it is why a rights complaint reaches you.
2. The Services and your account
You must not:
- Resell or provide the platform itself to others, without a written agreement with us. Showing your own content, or your clients’ content on your screens, is what the Services are for.
- Share Panel credentials outside your organization, or use an account you were not issued.
- Use one licence for more players than it covers.
- Attempt to reach another customer’s content, screens or data, or any part of the Panel you have not been granted access to.
3. Networks and our systems
You must not use the Services to attack, overload or disrupt any network or service, gain unauthorized access to any system, or distribute malware. You must not probe or overload the Panel, the Player or our infrastructure, or automate requests to them in a way that degrades them for others.
4. What happens if you breach this policy
Depending on how serious it is, we may:
- Contact you and ask you to fix it.
- Pause the affected players or Services.
- Terminate your Services without refund.
- Report the matter to the authorities, where the law requires it.
For anything that is unlawful or causing immediate harm, we may act first and explain afterwards. Otherwise we will normally contact you first and give you a reasonable chance to put it right.
5. Reporting abuse
If you believe someone is using Info in breach of this policy, tell us at support@cef-technology.com with as much detail as you can.
Privacy Policy
1. Who is responsible for your data
CEF TECHNOLOGY LLC, a company registered in the State of Wyoming, United States, with registered office at 1603 Capitol Ave., Ste. 310, Cheyenne, WY 82001, USA, is the controller of the personal data described here.
Contact for privacy matters: sales@cef-technology.com
This policy covers info-signage.com, the Panel, the Player, and the support we provide by email.
The content you upload
The content you upload to show on your screens may include personal data (for example a staff member’s name and photo on a welcome screen). You decide what it contains and why. For that data you are the controller and CEF processes it on your behalf, only to provide the Services to you. Requests about it should be addressed to you.
The Services do not identify the people who look at your screens. The Player shows content; it does not collect data about viewers.
2. What we collect
When you contact us
Name, email address, company and country if you give them, and whatever you write in the message. Our contact form is processed at Cloudflare and delivered by Google Workspace to sales@cef-technology.com.
When you have an account on the Panel
Name, email address, credentials, your organization, and the users you invite.
When your players run
Technical data about each player and screen: its status (online or offline), when it was last active, the content scheduled on it and, where you use them, proof-of-play reports of what played and when.
When you pay
Billing name and address, country, and tax identifiers where required. We never receive or store your full card number: payment details go to the payment processor, never through us.
When you visit the website
info-signage.com is a static site. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes standard request data including IP address, for security and delivery. The site does not use advertising or tracking tags.
3. Why we use it, and on what legal basis
| Purpose | Data | Legal basis (GDPR terms) |
|---|---|---|
| Provide the Services, the Panel and the Player | Account, configuration, player data | Performance of a contract |
| Store and deliver your content on your behalf | What you upload | Performance of a contract, on your instructions |
| Charge for the Services | Billing details | Performance of a contract |
| Send service email: notices, offline alerts, payment problems | Email address | Performance of a contract |
| Answer your requests and provide support | Whatever you send us | Contract + legitimate interest |
| Comply with tax and accounting law | Billing, invoices | Legal obligation |
| Keep the Services secure | Logs, IP | Legitimate interest |
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data. We share only what is necessary, with:
| Provider | What for | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Our platform and hosting providers | Running the Panel and delivering content to your players | Global |
| Stripe, our payment processor | Online subscriptions and payments | USA / global |
| Cloudflare | Website hosting and delivery, contact form processing, anti-spam checks | Global |
| Google Workspace | Our mailboxes and contact form delivery | USA / EU |
When you connect an integration, the third-party service receives what it needs to provide its content, under its own privacy policy.
We may also disclose data where required by law, to enforce our terms, or in connection with a merger or sale of assets, in which case we will tell you.
5. International transfers
We are established in the United States, and our providers operate globally. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Brazil, your data is transferred outside your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. You can ask us for details.
6. How long we keep it
| Data | Retention |
|---|---|
| Account records | While your account is active, then 3 years |
| Your content | While your account is active, then deleted |
| Player status and proof-of-play data | While your account is active |
| Invoices and payment records | 7 years, or as tax law requires |
| Support correspondence | 3 years |
| Contact form messages | 2 years |
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent where processing relies on it.
If you are in the EEA or UK you may also complain to your supervisory authority. In Brazil, the LGPD grants comparable rights. In California, the CCPA gives you rights of access and deletion, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them.
To exercise any of these, email sales@cef-technology.com. We respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity first. Some data we cannot delete on request: we must keep invoices for tax purposes.
8. Cookies
The website sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Full detail in our Cookie Policy.
9. Security
We protect your data with HTTPS everywhere, access controls and roles on the Panel, and by keeping card data entirely out of our systems. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your personal data, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.
10. Children
Info is a professional service, sold to businesses. This website and the Panel are not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18 through them.
11. Changes
We will publish any update here with a new date, and notify account holders by email of material changes.

Cookie Policy
1. The short version
The website info-signage.com sets no advertising or tracking cookies, and that is why it shows no consent banner. If we count visits, we do it with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and does not follow you to other sites.
2. What a cookie is
A small text file a website stores in your browser. Some are essential for a site to work; others track you. We use only the first kind.
3. What may be set
| Cookie | Where | What it does | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| Security cookie | Website | Set by Cloudflare, our host, to tell visitors from automated attacks, including on the contact form | Strictly necessary |
| Session cookie | Panel | Keeps you signed in | Strictly necessary |
Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent, because without them the service you asked for cannot work.
4. What we do not use
- ❌ Advertising cookies
- ❌ Analytics cookies, or cross-site tracking
- ❌ Selling browsing data, or combining it with your Panel account
5. Managing cookies
Every browser lets you view, block and delete cookies, usually under Settings → Privacy. Blocking the Panel’s session cookie means you will not be able to sign in.
6. Changes
If we start using cookies for anything beyond what is described here, we will update this policy and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent first.
